Mark "The Bird" Fidrych used to crouch down on the ground and smooth out the mound. He used to talk to the ball, stuff like that. You can read more about him here.

I just remembered this: I was talking to this bike messenger I used to work with and I said something about a building I liked and he goes "I'm not a tourist, I don't look up." Maybe that inspired this drawing without me knowing it.

Rolling Thunder Villains

Man I forgot about this video game until I played it the other night. The bad guys in the hoods are great. Some of them have goggles on. I want to put them in a comic somehow as part of some underground resistance brotherhood that turns out to be ersatz. I started trying to draw them this morning but they look kind of like Klansmen. Not cool.
